9|Storyville~Valentino: The Last Emperor~Film which travels inside the singular world of one of Italy's most famous fashion designers, Valentino Garavani, documenting the colourful and dramatic closing act of his celebrated career and capturing the end of an era in global fashion. However, at the heart of the film is a love story - the unique relationship between Valentino and his business partner and companion of 50 years, Giancarlo Giammetti.
9|Storyville~When China Met Africa~A gathering of over fifty African heads of state in Beijing reverberates in Zambia where the lives of three characters unfold. Mr Liu is one of many Chinese entrepreneurs who have settled across the continent; Mr Li is a project manager for a multinational Chinese company upgrading the country's longest road; and Zambia's trade minister is en route to China to secure investment. Through the portrayal of these characters, the expanding footprint of a rising global power is laid bare.
! 9|Strictly Come Dancing~2/15, series 12 - ~New series. The pro-celebrity contest returns, as Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman host the first of this weekend's two live shows in which six of the 15 couples will be tripping the light fantastic. The celebrities taking to the floor over the two evenings are Pixie Lott, Jake Wood, Frankie Bridge, Gregg Wallace, Caroline Flack, Simon Webbe, Alison Hammond, Steve Backshall, Sunetra Sarker, Mark Wright, Jennifer Gibney, Scott Mills, Judy Murray, Thom Evans and Tim Wonnacott. Despite being watched by the ever-critical Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli, Craig Revel Horwood and Darcey Bussell, the hoofers can breathe easy as there will be no public vote or elimination this week - although the judges' scores will be carried over to next weekend. Continues t
 omorrow.
! 9|Strictly Come Dancing~3/15, series 12 - ~Following last night's first live edition, in which the first six celebrity hoofers made their dance-floor debuts - not counting the group number they all exuberantly threw themselves into in the launch show earlier this month - Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman introduce the nine celebrities who have been patiently waiting in the wings, ready to show off what they've learned in the rehearsal room - or not, in the case of any potential John Sergeants and Ann Widdecombes. With no public vote or elimination this weekend, the scores given by judges Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli, Craig Revel Horwood and Darcey Bussell are carried over to next week, when the first couple will leave the competition. To paraphrase Tess and Claudia - it's time to `geeeeeeeet
  dancing!'.
! 9|Strictly Come Dancing~4/15, series 12 - ~Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman present the first of this weekend's two shows - and this is when things get serious. There are no more second chances for the twinkle-toed stars - Pixie Lott, Jake Wood, Frankie Bridge, Gregg Wallace, Caroline Flack, Simon Webbe, Alison Hammond, Steve Backshall, Sunetra Sarker, Mark Wright, Jennifer Gibney, Scott Mills, Judy Murray, Thom Evans and Tim Wonnacott - as they and their partners step out onto the dance floor again. Tomorrow the first pro-celebrity couple will be leaving the competition, as their scores from judges Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli, Craig Revel Horwood and Darcey Bussell are added to those of the voting viewers. But which pair will have performed their last dance? The results are tomorrow at 7.
 20pm.
! 9|Strictly Come Dancing~5/15, series 12 - ~Strictly is nothing if not glamorous, but there are a few extra sparkles this week as the contestants take their inspiration from the silver screen in a movie-themed show, with Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli, Craig Revel Horwood and Darcey Bussell deciding who is a blockbuster and who is a box-office flop. What's more, the judging quartet are not alone, as for one week only, singer Donny Osmond will be joining the panel to add his thoughts on the dancers' progress. As ever, Tess Daly introduces the twinkle-toed stars, while Claudia Winkleman chats to them after their performances - and watch out too for the professionals, who kick the show off with a spirited performance of There's No Business Like Show Business.
