all channels are also available from _eu_dotmedia (xmltv.se)
I'm not sure I can add the warning until release later today, so if
someone can add it that would be appreciated.

Upstream was pretty clear on what their wishes are for consumers of
their API... I'd say implement the (small) needed change or remove the
grabber from active distribution.
