git

svn is "cvs done right", which, while I would not quite
use the flowery language of Linus, I would agree with the
sentiment that that is the wrong approach.

That said, I do not care a lot, as I am currently using
git for the existing cvs repo using the cvs "translator",
and there is also a svn translator. But I would prefer
a git native approach.

Github or gitlab I would guess. There are some things
gitlab seems to be better at, but I do not really care.
My grabber upstream is on github, so I would intend
to commit there first and cherrypick no matter what.

As I have mentioned before, I think the more important
question is not where it lives is whether you intend to
reconsider the workflow (which could have other
implications).

And please import the issues into the same repo
(there are scripts around to import sourceforce tickets
into github issues as I recall).

Thanks.
