Hi XMLTV devel, I am new to XMLTV, so I apologize in advance if I am unaware of any requisite background. I am in Australia, currently I and many others use an XMLTV based grabber called shepherd for our xmltv guide needs (there appears to be no tv_grab_au in XMLTV at this time). To a large extent, all our developers have moved on, so the shepherd project is a little unloved at the moment and our grabbers are starting to show their age. However there are still some interested people and we are discussing what to do going forward. Should we be looking to / is it possible / is it a good idea to move our project over to XMLTV in some way? Would there be benefits for us? Would there be benefits for you? Would we be welcome? At this stage I am just information gathering so that I understand what options are available to us. I presume that we would need to make changes to our code for compliance - and I presume that we would be responsible for that. To be honest there may be quite a body of work as the shepherd structure may be quite different. However is there support within XMLTV-devel to give advice if needed? Just hoping to open the lines of communication and gain a broader understanding of the XMLTV landscape. If you have any advice for me it would be appreciated.
