Right now, configure is set up to be run interactively with the user selecting the grabbers of interest to them. For packaging, it would be nice to have a way to bypass the interactive portion and build all available grabbers. I have used a crude patch to do so for MacPorts. A better way might be to rejigger configure and add an ‘—all-grabbers’ switch.

That’s perfect! I wasn’t aware of the -default switch.

My usual process when updating our packaging (“port”) is to run configure until I’ve satisfied all the requirements possible. Then make sure it builds and do some minor functional testing.

I’m looking to update my MythTV server and switch to xmltv. I set up a test system last week and was very pleasantly surprised that I did not have to enter xmltvid’s for my OTA channels. My 35-ish channels were all recognized—including icons for each!!

Unfortunately, my main Mac has ‘gone to be with Steve Jobs’. ;). Projects are on hold while I wait for a delivery.
