For many website and printed listings it seems to be presented as an entry in the programme's 'flags' e.g. "Blah blah [HD,S,AD]"

Their data feed has array elements for "audio_attributes" and "video_attributes" but I've never seen anything in there!

tvguide.co.uk
 "The Twilight Zone airs on Sky Mix at 10:00 PM, Thursday 27 June. (Subtitles, audio description.)"

sky.com
has adjacent icons for 'HD' '15' 'S' 'AD' just after the programme's description.


This doesn't really help us here but it's background info :-)

Supporting audio-description would fit well with the emerging fashion for "accessible" TV
