Hi Nick!

She seems to be listed twice in this show....

<programme start="20110125234000 +0000" stop="20110126003500 +0000"
channel="itv3.itv.co.uk">
    <title>Numb3rs</title>
    <sub-title>Hardball</sub-title>
    =====cut======
      <actor>Lauren Velez</actor>
      <actor>Lauren Stamile</actor>
      <actor>Lauren Stamile</actor>
      <actor>Joel Anderson</actor>
    =====cut======
    <episode-num system="xmltv_ns">2 . 7/24 . </episode-num>
    <video>
      <aspect>16:9</aspect>
      <quality>SDTV</quality>
    </video>
    <previously-shown />
    <subtitles type="teletext" />
  </programme>

I found the episode listed on the imdb, http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0882518/
 and (IMHO the lovely) Lauren Stamile seems only to get one credit, so my
guess is the hard pressed work experience girl at RT just cut and pasted her
into the listing twice ?

While I was checking tv_extractinfo_en again I noticed that
"person Lauren Stamile seen twice at /usr/bin/tv_extractinfo_en line
1604." seemed to come up early on as a warning, and the process actually
crashed quite a while after with the Date::Manip error message...

> ii) Which version of Date::Manip do you have installed?
I thought I was upto date, but on learning a bit more about modules and CPAN
I realised I was running 6.11, so I've just upgraded to 6.21 (I think?!?!)
cpan[2]> i Date::Manip
Module id = Date::Manip
    DESCRIPTION  Complete date/time manipulation package
    CPAN_USERID  SBECK (Sullivan Beck <[email protected]>)
    CPAN_VERSION 6.21
    CPAN_FILE    S/SB/SBECK/Date-Manip-6.21.tar.gz
    UPLOAD_DATE  2011-01-10
    DSLIP_STATUS RdpOp (released,developer,perl,object-oriented,Standard-Perl)
    MANPAGE Date::Manip - Date manipulation routines
    INST_FILE    /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.10.1/Date/Manip.pm
    INST_VERSION 6.21

Sadly the upgrade didn't improve things. This is the error output after the
uprade to 6.21...
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
cat stage1.xml | tv_extractinfo_en > test.xml
person Lauren Stamile seen twice at /usr/bin/tv_extractinfo_en line
1604.
Can't use an undefined value as an ARRAY reference at
/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.10.1/Date/Manip/DM6.pm line 509.

Slightly different, but still crashing :((

As a bit of background info, I'm running Slackware 13.1, and I'm using
xmltv-0.5.59 compiled from the source tarball.

Grabbing listings just for freeview in the London area.

All the best,
gunga
