I looked at my setup and found Log::TraceMessages was missing because 
one it's dependencies (HTML::FromText) needed to be forced before it would 
install. After that Log::TraceMessages installed OK. 
Hopefully if there's a next time I'll be able to track the problem down a bit 
closer...

I also installed the progress bar module, mainly because I love an ascii art 
progress bar ;->
