The Radio Times feed does not contain specific original airdate
information for programmes. The feed does provide premiere and repeat
statuses for programmes (which the grabber obeys if present), although
sadly not for every programme. It does seem that the quality of repeat
and premiere information has declined significantly - checking
listings for Dave shows no programmes marked as repeats, when almost
100% should be.

All films typically include the year of their release (no day or month
info, just YYYY) but this is not their original airdate unless it is a
premiere showing. Neither does it mean that the original airdate is
Jan 1st YYYY if the year is given.

I suppose one could infer that if a programme is flagged as a
premiere, the original airdate is the same as the transmission date of
the programme.

I'll do some more research on the listings I have available, and
perhaps contact the Radio Times to see if they are aware of the
problem.
