tv_grab_na_dd under Ubuntu precise doesn't respect auto-config: add

I installed xmltv on an Ubuntu Precise system with:

apt-get install xmltv

It mostly runs fine but when I run:

tv_grab_na_dd --configure --auto-config add

I always get the following prompt:

Lineups change periodically. The default for new stations is to notify you.
Do you want new stations to be automatically added? [yes,no (default=no)] yes

I'm looking to run this from a script as part of a cron job so I don't want this
prompt.

my ~/.xmltv/tv_grab_na_dd.conf file has the line
auto-config: add

so I'd think this prompt would be bypassed. Am I missing something?

I also noticed that
xmltv@vbrain1:~/.xmltv$ tv_grab_na_dd --version
XMLTV module version 0.5.61
This is tv_grab_na_dd.in version 1.82, 2010/09/04 10:28:44

which seems old for the grabber. Is there a better package I should be
installing (and would it solve this problem)?

Thanks
Steve
