The nice people from Mythbuntu provide a nightly build over at
https://launchpad.net/~mythbuntu/+archive/xmltv
you just need to add the PPA. But keep in mind that you will get the
lastest xmltv on every update.

Once the next release is out, has made it into Debian and wandered over
to Ubuntu you can ask if its being ported to the LTS. But I've never
done that.

Ohhh, just saw the build is broken due to
   cp: cannot stat `debian/tmp/debian/tmp/usr/bin/tv_grab_es_miguiatv': 
No such file or directory
