Have you looked for a more recent release of XMLTV?  Have you looked at the Wiki Page? (http://xmltv.org)

There have been some minor tweaks to _na_dd, but unlike a scraper, the grabber doesn't break often.

Have you looked for a man page?  a doc file?  --help?

Check out the man page, there may be  a way to --quiet it down
