What do you mean by "check"?  The genres are extracted from the PA data feed, translated according to the PA genres map file (if applicable) and any local mapping you have in place, and then placed in the XML output file.  End of story.

Make sure you are checking the XMLTV file produced by the grabber and not, for example, looking at the results of your MythTV import.  I do not use MythTV and I can only investigate issues relevant to the XML file and not your MythTV database.

If something doesn't look right in Myth then your first port of call should be to check the XMLTV file and see if the 'error' is in there or not - then you will know whether the problem is in XMLTV or in MythTV.
