that HD problem is due to the data from the press association being incorrect (i.e. if a program is simulcast on an HD channel, even the version on the SD channel is flagged as HD. If you grab the latest code for the atlas grabber, the HD flagging has been removed for the time being, due to this issue with the program data. 

The Radio times grabber gets around this error by overriding the HD flag so that all programs that on HD channels are flagged as HD.
