Error executing grabber: Content is not allowed in prolog. Result code = 1 The xmltv is installed in folder C:\Program Files (x86)\FreeGuide\xmltv and a folder .xmltv exists within that. I am running windows 7 I have been using this setup for years but decided to install the latest xmltv but am beginning to wish I hadn't! Can anyone help please? What's your xmltv.exe command line like? Maybe you need to specify a full path to a config file? If changes were made to the default location for config files, it's been a while! It's certainly not a good practice to put a config file under program files. Maybe ask the FreeGuide folks how it should be done? Robert _____ Thanks -you are correct, the issue is to do with installing into Program Files. Stephen Fischer on the FreeGuide project helped me out thus "It's not the space in the name "Program Files" but Microsoft banning writing to "Program Files" except by install programs. You install software using elevated privileges which means an admin account and it's password must be entered. So the issue was about security, the dreaded UAC. Once I reinstalled to a location away from program files, everything worked fine. Thanks for your help and interest.
