Please email me directly (no need to bother the list),  the command line 
and complete output.  In addition add "--dd-data dd.xml"  to your 
command and include the dd.xml file.

I'm wondering if this could be a MTU issue (Maximum Transmit Unit.. 
well, really a MRU, but whatever).   Routers are supposed to negotiate 
that on a TCP session setup, but ages ago I've seen problems with that.  
Small packets get through, large ones don't.

Can you download http://alpha-exe.xmltv.org from the home machine 
without a problem?

Do you use a proxy server? (very unusual in a home setup)
