Looks like the SD data is reasonably comprehensive, but sadly looks like the episode numbering system > is not one of the predefined ones in DTD (xmltv_ns / onscreen). Do you know if that's configurable/translatable ? Sorry, I'm not an expert on these file formats and particularly MythTV. I've kind of got sucked into discussions on here through using firstly Atlas and now SD in NextPVR and finding that this forum was lively and educated on the subject of EPGs and translation via XML. > To answer your question - yes it would be handy to compare a longer listing example. As I said in my previous post, I'm wary about intellectual property rights when it comes to large quotes. Having said that, the usual 10% "academic review" of my download from SD that runs to some 80MB is still quite a lot of data for research purposes. With tv_grab_sd_json more or less working, you are well equipped to go off and just grab that sample you want from SD under the 2 day trial membership anyway. I will though as a courteousy finish what I started by providing comparison data where I feel able to do so and I'm not told off by the people at Schedules Direct. > I'm particularly interested in sub-title in the absence of consistent episode numbers across grabbers - I don't see that in your SD example. > For example, here's "Blue Eyes" on Friday via UK_RT ================================= <programme start="20160520210000 +0100" stop="20160520220000 +0100" channel="more4.channel4.com"> <title>Blue Eyes</title> <sub-title>The Wake</sub-title> <desc lang="en">Trapped with Mattias at the Veritas hideout, Sofia tends to his wounds, but an unsettling feeling torments her: Elin is contacted by an unexpected party who suggests a collaboration that could benefit them both, while the police identify Gustav through the CCTV pictures from the stock exchange. As someone else has said on here, E/S is 0 based so add one to both season and episode for "human readability". No location to go and get a .jpg directly, but NextPVR and one of its add-ons and/or Kodi seem to have the ability to use the show title plus that E/S data to go off and scrape a variety of internet sources and "weld in" additional series data including screenshots and fanart. Again for me as a user the ins and outs are beyond my understanding, but it just sort of "works" so I'm not going to knock it. If you are worried about the channel IDs, tv_grab_sd_json has three options for how this is presented and I just took the default for these examples. I believe there is a better choice for MythTV, but again I'm no expert... Hope this helps with your dilemma...
