Hi Chris

=20

I=E2=80=99m in the uk and I use the sdjson grabber in conjunction with a =
subscription to schedules direct. I think the freesat grabber works =
there too=E2=80=A6. But there are missing channels afaik

=20

I have installed xmltv then I went to an elevated command and cd to =
where the software was installed =E2=80=93 in your case c:\xmltv

Also there is a =E2=80=98glitch=E2=80=99 in xmltv that outputs your =
config file to c:\windows\syswow64\. Xmltv so it is worth directing the =
config output to your install folder.

=20

After changing into the xmltv directory, you will need a command like =
xmltv tv_grab_uk_tvguide =E2=80=93configure c:\xmltv\ =
tv_grab_uk_tvguide.conf

=20

Try that and see if it works

Hi, Chris!

=20

I'm seeing mixed slashes in the "can't create" report. My hunch is =
that's part of the problem. Not sure how it would be fixed, though.=20

Hi

=20

I am a Newbie (not very technical to boot) and to cut a long story =
short, here=E2=80=99s what is going on

=20

I bought a Hauppauge PC461e USB satellite stick which runs on my Win 7 =
laptop to receive Freesat (I am in the UK)

=20

It works fine but I need to sort out the EPG

=20

The Hauppauge software isn=E2=80=99t very good (because the Freesat EPG =
isn=E2=80=99t very good) with its own EPG so they suggest I try XMLTV

=20

I downloaded the latest .exe (version 0.5.70) and installed it in a =
folder with no spaces (actually c:\xmltv)

=20

I modified the config file to blank out all the examples=20

When I run, from a command prompt elevated to administrator, I type in

xmltv tv_grab_uk_tvguide --configure

I get the following errors

=20

I tried the same thing not as an elevated command and got the same =
results

Please can anyone tell me how to fix it?

=20

=20

Thanks and regards

Chris
