Font metrics

Hi,

playing around with Lout (3.39) the first time, I'm having trouble with 
custom fonts.

The definitions are as follows:

    @Tag { Geogrotesque-Base }
    @Family { Geogrotesque }
    @Face { Base }
    @Name { Geogrotesque-Regular }
    @Metrics { Geogrotesque-Regular.afm }
    @Mapping { LtLatin1.LCM }
  }

    @Tag { Geogrotesque-Bold }
    @Family { Geogrotesque }
    @Face { Bold }
    @Name { Geogrotesque-Bold }
    @Metrics { Geogrotesque-Bold.afm }
    @Mapping { LtLatin1.LCM }
  }

The kerning seems completely broken, with the mismatch adding up towards 
the end of the text.

I generated the AFM files with Fontographer and with FontForge -- without 
any difference.

What could be wrong?
