one format to many

Hi, I'm looking for some source format I can write in that will output to
many different formats.   I want to write my resume, and some places
require it in plain text, some in microsoft doc, some in pdf, etc...   Of
course, my preference would be to do it in lout, or at least be able to do
anything fancy in lout.   For example, anyone know what happened to this?
