My apologies, folks -- due to an unobservant administrator (yours truly) the bitkeeper-announce list has seen a fair amount of discussion in the last week. I'm making changes to ensure this doesn't happen again. bitkeeper-announce is intended as a low-volume list for BitMover to announce significant events, including all public releases. Discussion (such as the thread I'm replying to) belongs on bitkeeper-users. If you'd like to subscribe to bitkeeper-users, visit this URL: http://www.bitmover.com/mailman/listinfo/bitkeeper-users/ My apologies for the noise. Now, back to your regularly scheduled silence. (The problem: I get notified of messages that hit Mailman's filters and are held for approval. There is little to distinguish a bitkeeper-announce post (that was held because it's a moderated list) from a bitkeeper-users post that was held because the poster wasn't a subscriber. So I approved the -announce posts on half-autopilot, thinking they were -users posts, because they were on-topic.) -andy
