I am sorry that no one has told you about this earlier, but you should
not be using the CVS import tool in 3.2.3.  It is old and broken.  You 
can fetch a copy of bk with the new code from here:

    http://bitmover.com/~wscott/cvsimport.html

If your platform is not included let me know and I will build a copy.
