Trying to access the same working copy with different user ids

Hi All,

I am using WinCVS 1.2 for my project as 1.3 version is still in beta
stage.
While using version 1.2 I am facing some problems. I hope to find some
answers here.

I checked out some of the sources from CVS (userid sxv1) using WinCVS
at a common shared drive on Windows 2000.
Now when I changed the user id to cxs in the WinCVS preference box and
tried to perform any CVS operation it gives me the error.

cvs edit: authorization failed: server devssd01 rejected access to
/usr/local/cvs/storenet for user sxv1
cvs edit: used empty password; try "cvs login" with a real password

But when I tried using the beta 1.3 WinCVS version, it does not give
me that kind of problem.
Is it a known bug in the WinCVS 1.2 version or am I missing something
out here.
