File Deleted, cannot Commit

I had made a bogus commit and subsequently deleted that commit 1.81.2.6 using cvs admin. Now when I try to commit it says that cvs [commit aborted]: could not find desired version 1.81.2.6 in <location> I realize that I have gone wrong in cvs admin. Can you help me sort this out.
