CVS PROBLEM

Developer committed the code i am unable to send mail to particular Mail-ID
so i need clarification

i am using "*:pserver*"

i already done adding line in *CVSROOT/loginfo file DEFAULT mail  -s %S
mail-id*

also adding *users:usermail-id* in users file but *script execution is faild
* error i will get

Plz plz explain step by step i need detailed clarification
