Will this by any chance be available to macros as well, e.g. via cvsgui.App.PromptMessage()? > I'm going to take a look at Oliver's path for Shell API. OK. I guess there's still a lot of moving stuff about to do if this is really to become a cross-platform API as well. In that context it was probably doubly good that I already wrapped the success-checking... ;) To summarize the todos that cropped up after I uploaded the patch: - rename ShellFileAction to ShellAction - change result type of ShellAction (and consequently the parameter of ShellActionSucceeded) from HINSTANCE to UINT (or long or whatever is generic enough to be useful for all platforms) - move ShellAction and ShellActionSucceeded to somewhere that's available to all platforms - add platform ifdefs to ShellActionSucceeded implementation - add LaunchType enumeration (edit, defaultedit, open, openas) - merge LaunchEditor and LaunchViewer and augment the resulting function with parameter of abovementioned LaunchType type [- add ShellActionType enumeration for different shell actions (default, open, edit, openas, explore) and change the "verb" parameter of ShellAction into a parameter of that type] > BTW: Oliver, you should be able to get the "latest" from the > repo and build. OK, I already updated and the conflicts with the shell changes I did so far were trivial. Didn't have time to do a build anymore though (did I mention already how *slow* C++ compiles?... ;) ) > I am not moving the next release tag just yet because I want > to review all > latest changes more carefully and see if I have to branch off > for the next > release or can I move ahead. OK, I better won't put any version identifiers in the ChangeLog then in case you might choose not to include stuff. I've got some time today at work, so I thought I'd finish my MarkResolved macro and have a go at a HideMissing macro, both of which involve manipulation of the Entries files, so it would be really nice if I could preface them with a big ugly warning message with a "don't show again" checkbox... ;) Cheers, Oliver ---- ------------------ JID: [email protected] ICQ: 18777742 (http://wwp.icq.com/18777742) ------------------------ Yahoo!
