I'll have to have a close look at the source to check this - my 
impression was that only remnants of the rf framework were still used 
in MacCvs...

It's the IDE that comes with Apple's latest developer tools. Since it's 
free, I've recently created an Xcode project that will build the cvsgui 
tool, but the makefile based build is still supported (for the cvsgui 
tool)...
