gcvs for GTK2 (RFE-696923 - GNOME2 port)

hello all,

two questions really:

1. is anonymous cvs working at the moment? i have tried for 2 weeks
now and i keep on getting errors. at the moment it is an authorization
error. i found lots of posts on the web saying that source forge has
random problems with anon cvs, is this what i'm experiencing?

2. is anyone working on RFE-696923?
