Move CVS to a new serve

I am new to CVS and the admin before me "unvoluntarily" left the
company. We are about to set up a new server and move CVS. Is there
anything that I should be aware of? Can we just copy the data from
the old server to the new one? Are there any directories in
particular that I should ensure to copy.
