Errors when attempting to use WinCVS

Hi all,

I've just installed WinCVS but whenever I attempt to use a CVS command 
it complains and says that I'm using an invalid cvs option but in 
reality I'm not.  I don't know where it is coming from.  The command 
I've tried to execute is cvs -d [repository] co [modulename] and 
that's it.  Where is the "c" option coming from and how do I get rid 
of it.  I've tried reinstalling the program, etc. and am at a loss.

Can anyone help?

Here is the error...

"cvs: invalid option -- c
Usage: cvs [cvs-options] command [command-options-and-arguments]..."
