No it is not. Example: cvs -d :pserver:[email protected]:/cvsroot/roundup co roundup The -d parameter for the cvs command tells cvs where the server is located and how to connect to the repository. Then follows the actual command (co) and its parameters, for example -r if you want a specific tag and then finally the module name. if you use -d as a parameter to cvs co it means to override the directory into which to put the checked out files (default is dir = modulename).
