Thanks! That does work.  
Do you happen to know if there are other options in updated 
versions?  Is there a way to make the default be writable (there used 
to be in the commercial version)?  Or to change the permissions of 
multiple files at the same time (instead of clicking through all the 
pop-ups after you multi-select)?
