Hi all,

I am new to cvs and would like to have your help for the configure
and setup on cvsnt and wincvs.

I have installed cvsnt 2.0.51d on my windows xp-pro (server). I have
installed wincvs 2.x (I forget the actual version) on another xp-pro
(client) and using sspi to communicate between. I have no problem to
setup repository and new modules but I have some question would like
to know.

1) using server, when I login using wincvs, why I have to enter
password even I have not setup any account for cvs?
2) using client, when I login using wincvs, above happened also. And
I have to activate the guest account on server and assign full
control to repository and temp directory in order for the client to
checkout module, why?
3) if I would like to use a single user (xp account) and different
cvs account/password to access the repository, how can I do?
4) Can cvs just checkout one file instead of a module and implement
a filelock for a particular user so that no other user can check-in
different version?

Many thx for your great assistance.

Jimmy
