Multiplatform gserver authentication

I'm running gnu cvs server on redhat enterprise 5 in a kerberos
environment, and am able to communicate fine with cvs from linux
clients using the gserver method that have kerberos tickets.

However we have developers on windows machines that need access too.
Mainly they're using WinCVS. I'm very stuck in trying to get them to
work. I have installed MIT kerberos client which gets a ticket fine,
but now when I try to checkout a module i get

'GSSAPI authentication failed: no authority could be contacted for
authentication.'

I have seen here that people have managed to get this working, but no
explanation as to how. A short how-to would be really appreciated!

thanks, nick
