hi

needed help in some cvs command. Like I have 2 tags from which i
need to get the code from cvs server.
When I run the
cvs -d (server path) checkout -r XSELL_MAINSTREAM_IT CrossSell

This is for the first tag XSELL_MAINSTREAM_IT which contains 5 files.
when I run this i get the code for the tags concerned with this. when
I run the same command for the second tag which contains 3 files
it overwrites the exsisting 5 files and only 3 files are present the
second tag I give as
cvs -d (server path) checkout -r MAINSTREAM_2 CrossSell
MAINSTREAM_2 this is the second tag. why is it that when i run the
second tag its totally deleting the old 5 files.
Is there any other process which will keep the 5 files as well as
the 3 files?

Please help me out with this.
is there any command which will not delete and will get all the files
for the neccessary tags.

thanks
chinmaya
