  we need work on mac for somefiles at office,
  but sometime we need check in files from home using laptop wincvs.
   
  how can we avoid the lineending problems?

If you are talking about modifying and checking in the files in the sandbox you checked 
out on the other platform, you'll have to be prepared for problems stemming from different 
lineending conventions. That's not only for the files you edit, but also for the metadata 
files in the CVS directories as well as e.g. diffs...

The question is: why would you do this in the first place?
Why not just checkout on the other platform, too?
