Giving it a try , not sure it's a perfect resolution ...... Let us first try to ping the IP Address / path you use for CVSRoot , this will confirm you have access to that folder to access the CVS files .... Then update the CVSROOT with your correct host address , username and password that allows you to access the CVS server .... Update the host file if you are using host name in the CVSROOOT .... I would like to access the folders from the server repository. When i installed first there was not proxy settings. Now When i try to set the path for the CVSRoot it is set as proxy user and proxy password and proxy server. I do not use any proxy server. How to come back to the origanl settings.
