Been battling with this all day...
Using WinCVS, I imported a new module, by manually creating all sub
directories. Problem is, I used the wrong directory name for the
module destined to my CVS repo hosted on a Linux box.
I will like to correct the module directory name in CVS and undo all
the files I currently have tagged for addition. See, I do not want to
rename my project files simply to re-add import them as a new module
into CVS, although this is looking like my only alternative.
I have tried the following:
1. cvs release -d Instrastructure (where Instrastructure is the wrong
name) but CVS says, there is no such directory, even though I clearly
see it.
2. Tried to delete the 'Instrastructure' directory, but this does not
help as the files within WinCVS, are still tagged for addition to
this non-existing directory, Instrastructure.
All I want to do within WinCVS, is un-mark files that have been marked
for addition to a directory that no longer exist in my CVS repo. How
does on do this?
TIA.
