It bothers me when people do not take enough the care to read the
question properly. It was obvious to me what you wanted.

The way I handle your situation is to have a root projects folder for
all my other projects and set the WinCVS browse to that root projects
folder.

To create new project folder.
- Create a sub-folder in your root projects folder using your Explorer
(or whatever).
- In WinCVS select that sub folder.
- In WinCVS select Admin / Login
- Specify the CVSROOT for the desired project and click OK.
- You may be presented with a login dialog to provide the password.
- Make sure the login is successful.
- Right click on your sub folder
- Select Checkout module.
- Enter the Module name and path on the server
- Make sure the CVSROOT field is correct
- When you click OK the project folder tree will appear in that sub
folder.
- The CVS sub folder will maintain the CVSROOT specific to that
project. This allows you to have projects from different repositories
or even different servers as sub folders from your root project folder.

- Sometime I like to alter the folder hierarchies a little. Each CVS
sub project folder can stand alone on it own. It is not dependent on
its parent folder. So your updating and check ins work fine one the
project folder is created.
