The problem is that the folders don't exist in either place.  If I add the
folders manually, WinCVS sees them again but has Erase and Remove grayed out. 
If I commit, it tells me it's missing and to checkout.  If I checkout, nothing
changes.  If I import, it gets worse because I don't seem to be able to import
in the middle of the folder tree.  Maybe your idea will work because WinCVS
knows about the folders (in the ENTRIES as was mentioned).  As it was easier to
delete one line in the 4 files, I did and it worked like a charm.
