jens,

Just tested on Mac OS 10.4.11 intel.

Again no sanity errors - it succssfully installs and runs.

Startup:
Welcome to MacCvsX 3.3b2
CVSROOT: Administrator@2ksrvr01:/myrepo (password authentication)
TCL is available, shell is enabled : help (select and press enter)
MacCvs: Unable to convert path name (error -35)
MacCvs: Unable to convert path name (error -35)

When I checkout I get this odd result:
cvs -d :pserver:[email protected]:/usr/local/cvs checkout -P -r CVSNT_2_0_x -d /Users/abarrett/cvsntsrc -- cvsnt/src (in directory /Users/abarrett/dev)
Error: cannot chdir to /Users/abarrett/dev (error 2)!
cvsnt server: Updating cvsntsrc
U cvsntsrc/.cvsignore
U cvsntsrc/ChangeLog
U cvsntsrc/ChangeLog-9194
U cvsntsrc/ChangeLog-9395
.
.
 The checkout itself seems OK.

Every time MacCVS loses focus and then I return focus I get:
MacCvs: Unable to convert path name (error -35)
MacCvs: Unable to convert path name (error -35)

After the succssful checkout if I go to checkout again I immediately get promoted for a directory, then after I select a directory the checkout dialog opens (on the 'update options' tab which is the last tab I used).

When I try the browse tags I get the much weirder:
cvs -d :pserver:Administrator@2ksrvr01:/myrepo rlog -h -l -- abarrett (in directory /Users/)
Error connecting to host 2ksrvr01: servname not supported for ai_socktype

If I try this command on the command line (cvsnt 2.5.03.2685) I get:
imac:~ abarrett$ cvs -d :pserver:Administrator@2ksrvr01:/myrepo rlog -h -l
Error connecting to host 2ksrvr01: Unknown error

It seems MacCVS is picking up this CVSROOT from somewhere OTHER than the CVSROOT specified on the checkout dialog itself (where I have :pserver:[email protected]:/usr/local/cvs).

Let me know if you need more info.

Regards,

Arthur

Subject:	[cvsgui] ANN: MacCvsX 3.3b2

I have just posted a new release of MacCvsX (3.3b2).

There are really only two changes compared to 3.3b1:
	- This version runs on Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
	- This version now uses a native cvsnt tool for the cvs operations
(even though the application itself is still PowerPC).

Sorry for the delay in releasing the Leopard-ready version :(
There's still a glitch on Leopard where some (most?) browser icons
don't display correctly - it's annoying, but I figured I'd better get
this out, since the previous versions failed to launch on Leopard...
