Error message while checking out jar files from CVS

Hi,


I am getting few errors while checking out jar files of a project from CVS.


The error message are :


 cvs checkout: internal error: unsupported substitution string -k±¨;
 cvs [checkout aborted]: EOF in value in RCS file 




Kindly suggest , how can i get away with it.
