Hi Arthur,
Basically i tried to reproduce this problem at work so i followed the same
tutorial except for users as all users are from Windows PCs so i did not
create any user and instead of that, i use my active directory profile to
connect to CVS.
it is written in this tutorial that in this case it is preferred to use SSPI
protocol instead of sserver or pserver. So why are you telling that it's not
good to use sspi ?
if i use SSPI, here is what i got after login :
> cvs -d :sspi:mycomputer:/Repository login
> Logging in to :sspi:myname@mycomputer:2401:/Repository
>
> ***** CVS exited normally with code 0 *****
>
if i use PSERVER, here is the failed log-in:
> cvs -d :pserver:mycomputer:/Repository login
> Logging in to :pserver:myname@mycomputer:2401:/Repository
> cvs [login aborted]: authorization failed: server mycomputer rejected
> access to /Repository
>
> ***** CVS exited normally with code 1 *****

Alain
