I an using CVSNT on the server and WinCVS 1.3 client on the workstations. Protocol: sspi, I can see the client be authenticated but when it tried to update it says, authentication failed or rejected by the protocol. I have two other users with the same setup that have no problem with it. Can you tell me the procedure that IO need to follow to create a new user and that user to have access to WinCVS and do updates and other commands?/ Many Thanks, ______________________________ 4921 Seminary Rd # 1418 Alexandria, VA 22311 USA --- On Fri, 5/30/08, Bo Berglund <[email protected]> wrote: From: Bo Berglund <[email protected]> Subject: RE: [cvsgui] WinCVS authentication To: [email protected] Date: Friday, May 30, 2008, 12:58 AM Too little information given... - Which version of CVSNT client do you use (full version including build please)? - Which protocol do you use? - Which CVS server type are you trying to access (GNU, CVSNT...)? - Which version (including build) of CVS is running on the server? - Do you have a sandbox already? - How was that checked out? - What is the exact command you are giving that fails? - What happens if you give the command on the command prompt instead of through WinCvs? - etc, etc Best regards, Bo Berglund -----Original Message----- From: cvsgui@yahoogroups. com [mailto:cvsgui@yahoogroups. com] On Behalf Of adish86 Sent: den 30 maj 2008 05:36 To: cvsgui@yahoogroups. com Subject: [cvsgui] WinCVS authentication I can connect to wincvs but when I try to update it is like it didn't authenticate me. what is the problem?
