Steps/proceess/procedure to convert cvsnt 2.5.03.2260 usoft to cvs 1.11.22 RHES4

Can anyone share steps/proceess/procedure how to convert a cvsnt 
2.5.03.2260 usoft to cvs 1.11.22 redhat es4?  Issues I'm thinking about 
are

1) export from cvsnt and import to cvs
2) export from cvsnt and convert via shell or perl to cvs format?
3) write a shell/perl utility to walk the cvsnt tree and convert to cvs 
format?
4) line termination single character versus two charactor in the cvsnt 
object (microsoft vs unix line wrapping)
5) anything else?

I know this appears to be going the wrong way, but I don't have 1000's 
of spare $ to give to march-hare software in support fees.
