Are we talking about MacCvsX here? There's another Mac CVS GUI  
frontend called "MacCVSClient", so I just want to make sure we're  
actually talking about the same thing here...

Assuming we're talking about MacCvsX - which version did you install?  
Any version before 3.3b1 has problems on 10.5.x.
