I have worked a long time with PushOk CVS Proxy (http://www.pushok.com/soft_cvs.php). It works the same way VSS does, I guess just like CVS suite. The only disadvantage I found was that it used it's own hidden directories for keeping CVS information in. That way you are obliged to do a check-in with the Visual Studio. When I mixed using WinCVS with PushOK CVS Proxy, checking in was sometimes at the wrong tag of a file. regards, Mark ________________________________ Van: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] Namens Arthur Barrett Verzonden: maandag 13 april 2009 17:09 Aan: [email protected] Onderwerp: RE: [cvsgui] Getting started with a new project > How do users of Visual Studio use CVS? You can purchase CVS Suite - it makes CVS work almost identically to 'visual sourcesafe' and contains comprehensive documentation and support - and is the ONLY commercial software that is published by the same team that write CVSNT (the client that WinCVS uses) and the profits from the sale of CVS Suite directly support the development of the CVSNT open source software: http://march-hare.com/cvsnt/features/scci/en.asp <http://march-hare.com/cvsnt/features/scci/en.asp> Regards, Arthur Barrett [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------------------ Yahoo!
