Your description of the setup changed from the last time you asked this 
question.  Last time, you said you had done an import module; this time, 
you've done a checkout module, which is more typical.

So, let's start from the beginning.  Your server repository already had 
files in it, correct?  On the client computer, when you ran Remote - 
Checkout Module, where did you tell it to check out to?  That is, what 
directory?  You shouldn't check out to root (C:\), but instead check out 
to a local sandbox directory, something like C:\myproject-cvs.

Finally, try to get used to CVS terminology.  You said "If I go to 
Remote - Checkout Module - this works, and I can import the
entire repository."  That's not an import; that's creating a local 
sandbox by checking out from the server repository.  Importing is 
something else entirely.
