Build problems with GTK2 port of gCVS

Hi all,

   I've recently upgraded from OpenSUSE 10.3 (which included gCVS) to OpenSUSE 11.1 x86-64 (which doesn't), and want to build the GTK2 port of gCVS as I really don't get along well with Cervisia or any of the others.

   I've followed the instructions on the develop page of wincvs.org to download the source, however I'm running into a Right Mess (TM) of automake/autoconf errors. Has anyone else managed to build this port using recent versions of the build tools? Is there a handy RPM available that I can use instead of building from source?
