They are things that you will require as you become more familiar with
the tools.

TortoiseCVS and CVS Suite Studio are different 'clients' - like WinCVS
but different.

I personally think that WinCVS is a great client for people who have
used the CVS/CVSNT command line for years and what a powerful GUI - I do
not think that WinCVS is ideal for beginners.  

TortoiseCVS and CVS Suite Studio are probably easier for beginners to
understand.

I've already replied to your post on the CVSNT forum explaining how to
get started.
